From the moment you enter our open, welcoming office, you’ll know that the Advance Dentistry experience is different.
You’ll be greeted with a warm smile from the folks at our front desk. And while you relax in our light-filled waiting room — fully equipped with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and fresh magazines (not to mention comfortable seating) — we’ll be letting our clinical staff know that you’ve arrived.
Because, hey… nobody likes to wait too long.
“Hey, this doesn’t feel like a regular dental office.” We hear it all the time. And you know what? That’s entirely on purpose.
We Want You To Feel In Control.
Our overall goal is for each of your visits to be comfortable, positive, and truly beneficial. So if our approach to the “new patient experience” feels a bit different… Yep, that’s entirely on purpose.
First of all: your first visit is free.
We’d rather you be able to use your dental benefits on your actual treatment than on an initial examination. Makes sense, right?
In that first meeting, we’ll complete a complimentary exam, x-rays, and a consultation. These steps help to illuminate the best path forward and are an important part of the Advanced Dentistry approach.
And yep, it’s free. X-rays & all.
We want you to know we get it. Because we do.
What To Expect
One of our caring dental assistants will greet you in the front lobby and escort you back while giving you a brief tour of our office. Once in one of our comfortable dental chairs, the assistant will go over your dental and health history and will get to know you. She will address any concerns you may have and ask what your dental goals are. She will then take intra-oral photos and x-rays of your teeth. Then, the assistant will show you to our iCat 3D imaging and X-ray system. This machine will swivel around your head and capture a 3D image and x-ray of your teeth and jaw.
After only a few minutes, you will then return to the room your doctor will start your dental exam. The assistant will ask the doctor questions throughout the exam regarding the health of your mouth, making note of any problem areas, decay, fractured teeth, etc. Our doctors and staff will listen to you and your concerns and will answer any questions you have throughout your visit. Your doctor will then review your exam with you, explain your dental treatment and recommendations, and answer any further questions you may have.
Next, your treatment coordinator will review what your doctor has recommended and share your financial options with you. Our patients are in full control. You will be given a treatment plan or complete ‘road map’ of future treatment options and costs. Your treatment coordinator will have already verified your insurance benefits and estimated your out-of-pocket expenses. You may then decide how much treatment you would like to schedule and how quickly you wish to proceed. Your dental future is in your hands.
We like to set aside 60-90 minutes for you to receive all of the necessary information you need. It is possible however, to sometimes receive treatment that same day if our schedule allows. We want to ensure you have a welcoming and pleasant visit when you come to see us. We are here to make your dental visits comfortable and convenient! Please let us know how we can help. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, we are interested in hearing how we can do so.
The biggest compliment our patients can give us is to refer their friends and family members to our office. We like to treat our patients as we would want our families treated.
