“I began my academic career studying Civil Engineering at the University of Cincinnati while working part time in an orthodontic office. Although I enjoyed the problem-solving aspects of engineering, I realized I missed the opportunity to work directly with people and make a meaningful impact in their lives. 

That experience inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry.

While attending dental school, I received a Naval Health Profession Scholarship. I served as a Navy dentist for three years, providing dental care to United States Marines. I loved my time in the military and am proud to have a father who is a Purple Heart recipient from Vietnam and a son who is actively involved in ROTC at Xavier University. 

One of the most rewarding parts of my profession is helping patients regain confidence in their oral health. 

This very often means helping those who struggle with dental anxiety. IV sedation is huge part in helping patients overcome their fear of dentistry and leaving with a positive experience. It gives me great pleasure to be able to provide this for our patients.”
